Stucco moulding

The spectrum of modeled elements, which are successfully used by designers in interior, is wide today. The first place in the list is, undoubtedly, given to eaves, a plinth and borders for walls (so-called moldings). They are used not only for ornament of junction of a wall with ceiling and floor, but also for creation of effect of “soaring” ceilings with the built in fixtures. Moldings will effectively decorate doors, walls and even furniture. They will be perfectly entered in any design, beginning from rococo and up to Art Deco.
Decorative modeled elements will favorably issue door and window apertures, and together with wall decor (various medallions and garlands which fasten under a ceiling) will create unique ensemble in your house.
Do not forget about ceiling. Owing to stucco moulding, it can turn into fine dome which, at desire, can be even painted. However, it is necessary to remember, that it is possible to experiment so only in case that ceilings in your apartment are high. Otherwise you risk to create sensation not air space, and small, let even very cozy, but of grotto. So, in case of low ceilings it is better to manage ordinary ceiling socket and to hang up a luster.
Various columns and pilasters will create spirit of antiquity in your apartment. Various pedestals and arms will serve as the refined supports for colors, sculptures, etc.
In a word, “mould” your dwelling and it will become cozy and fine.
