July 21st, 2009

If you a happy parent, then you know that kids like to put their toys wherever they want. Sometimes it looks as if the house consists only of toys. It seems impossible to set the order in the house, but it is not that difficult. Let’s try to do it together.

It is recommended to help child to clean toys, as it will not be so boring. Let your child help you and to feel him the importance of his assistance. In process of growth it will turn to the present master of a toy kingdom and will put things in order in the kingdom.
Some rules should be obeyed to keep an order in the Kingdom of toys.

For example:
- It is not recommended to put all toys in one box, all toys should have their own places,
- Board games should be taken away each time at once after game even if you are going to play this game once again tonight,
- Toys should be treated carefully, with love.

How to store toys
In many families toys are stored in the big box under a children’s bed. It is not the best way. In such box all toys are mixed and it is difficult to find necessary toy. Such way of storage spoils many toys.
There are many other, more convenient and original ways. Let’s consider them properly.
It is very convenient to store toys on whatnot shelves. On ground floors cars or other large toys should be place. Small toys can be put in boxes and put against each other. Picture (cut out of magazine or drawn), representing the toy, which is kept here, should be put on each box. If your child can read, then you can write the description on the box.

If you a lot of toys, and the child is still small, he will all the same plays with the limited quantity of subjects, you can put toys in seven identical boxes and write the name of day of week on each box. Let the child play with toys of corresponding day of week.

Baby’s room interior ideas

September 26th, 2008

The main principle of baby’s room interior relies in using of soft quiet tones.
In general interior should be light and neutral, but not too boring, - in it is necessary to bring some bright spots into interior.

It can be any pictures or toys; they will waken interest of the child and will help to development of attention concentration. However, it is not necessary to buy multi-colored wall-papers with figures of animals, sun, ships - the excessive abundance of identical motionless images will disseminate attention of the kid.
Red, orange, yellow are active colors. They will help with development of social function. Use red, yellow and orange colors is very good for languid, apathetic and inactive children, these colors are able to improve their communicative activity increases and mood.
Dark blue, blue, violet are calming colors. They well approach for places and the subjects connected with rest and dream: pillows, bed-clothes, covers. Such colors are also good for hyperactive children as they neutralize excessive excitation.

Green and its various shades calm and weaken. That is why its influence is used at shocks and strong nervous shocks. Light green is a color, which makes us more active, it makes us to study the world, to learn something new.

Brown symbolizes confidence, stability and calmness, but its big quantity does not bring please and even burdens. It is not capable to cause bright emotions. Therefore it is not the best decision in children’s room.

Black, white, grey colors are often treated as absence of color at all. They seldom cause any emotions (but if, certainly, they are not used in lots: a lot of black depresses and upsets, causes fear, and an abundance of white - creates sensation of emptiness and loneliness).

Considering all these characteristics, it is necessary to try to use these colors less often as possible. The child in the big degree learns the world through various colors, acquires concepts and values, studies to understand properties of subjects and the phenomena. Therefore we recommend you to avoid such “empty” colors.
