December 24th, 2008

You can make your own Christmas postcards of everything - it is necessary to use your imagination. Art of making postcards by the hands refers to card making.
Individual postcard
Materials and tools, necessary for making postcard
- Color cardboard
- Color paper, figures or photos
- Scissors
- Glue or gluing pencil
- Paints or color pencils
- Spangles and other fine ornaments.
Cut out the form for postcard from a color cardboard. The form doesn’t not have to be of traditional (rectangular), it can be square, circle, triangle or oval. Then prepare details, with which you plan to decorate a card. Depending on plot and a way of registration the postcard can be surprise inside, a postcard with insert, a postcard with «paper animation» or it can be in the form of collage. A postcard with a surprise inside should remind a book.
You can make a figure in the form of the packed gift or, for example, fur-trees, and inside of postcard you can arrange the image of the gift (it is desirable that the gift was unusual, it will strengthen the effect of surprise).
The card with «paper animation» reminds comics, in which the characters cut out from a paper (they can be flat or volumetric). And postcard-collage can be made of journal cuttings or photos. It is desirable to use transparent paper glue or glue with spangles.
